Wedding at the Baltimore Basilica

When Sarah and Brian told me they had chosen to have their wedding at the Baltimore Basilica, I was so excited!  This was my first time photographing a wedding at the Baltimore Basilica. That being said, I had no idea how much history was there. I had no idea that it was the very first Roman Catholic cathedral built in the United States. What a beautiful place for a wedding ceremony!

We started the day at the Royal Sonesta, where they both were getting ready, and then followed them on over to the Basilica for the ceremony.  It’s times like these I am GLAD to be a photographer – parking was a non-issue 🙂

Afterward, we headed out to the Inner Harbor for some bridal party shots. Of course, it was sprinkling just a bit, but a bit of rain couldn’t get this bridal party down!  We broke out the umbrellas and just kept shooting.  Once we got back to the Royal Sonesta for the Reception, it was time for a ROCKING evening.  Weddings at the Royal Sonesta are ALWAYS flawless. Jay Day is an absolute genius when it comes to organizing a wedding – I had so much fun, enjoy the photos!
