The Museum of Industry offers several different venue combinations based on your needs and wants. Indoor and outdoor spaces can be combined or used separately if you are looking for a smaller gathering or area. For an additional fee, the museum staff can open up three of the museum's exhibits for your guests to peruse.

The museum does not have catering on-site. However, they do have a list of wonderful caterers that are approved to work in the venue. You can have hors d’oeuvres and meals. You can have a bar stocked full of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. You can only use one of the venue’s approved caterers.

The rental of the space does come with all of the tables and chairs you will need to accommodate your guests. Depending on which configuration you want to use at the museum and the day of the week, renting the space can range anywhere from $4500 to $8000. When you consider the hybrid water-front space, this venue is reasonably priced.

If you would like to give your guests the full experience, the museum will open up its galleries for the first two hours of your event. The Canary, Machine Shop, Garment Loft, and Print Shop are all available to your guests. Opening up the galleries does cost an additional $300 per gallery.

Packages and Catering

The indoor/outdoor combination that is available at this venue creates a seamless experience for your guests. The added feature of the museum's galleries creates even more space to make your ceremony or reception even more special.

The Alonso Decker Gallery is the premier space for a lovely reception surrounded by local history and spectacular décor. This venue can accommodate 300 seated guests. If you are looking to have a dance floor, the venue suggests that you limit your guest list to 250. The gallery is a beautiful modern space with high ceilings and tons of natural light. The gallery is also connected to the terrace. The terrace is made of stunning red brick and offers some of the best views of the inner harbor so your guests can marvel at the water.

The Open-air pavilion can accommodate 300 seated guests and is perfect for a breathtaking ceremony by the water. The inner harbor provides the perfect backdrop for your ceremony. The pavilion allows your guests to comfortably join you for a beautiful water-front ceremony during any weather. Covered from above, the open-air pavilion also features retractable sides to ensure that your guests stay safe from the elements. The pavilion can also be used for your cocktail hour if you choose.

There is nothing more memorable than a trip to the museum as a child. Capture that feeling of joy in every single one of your guests at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. The Museum offers several locations that can serve as the backdrop to your ceremony and reception.
