IT’S ABOUT TIME!! After getting married in their backyard in the middle of a pandemic, Mary and Adam were finally able to celebrate their marriage with their friends and family. And what a celebration it was! The weather was absolutely fantastic, and everyone looks spectacular. There were sunflowers everywhere you looked, and the gentleman were looking absolutely fantastic in their kilts! Well, once we figured out how to get them on, that is. 🙂 Here’s what Mary had to say about their big day:

What inspired your wedding décor? Did you have a theme in mind? Will there be any DIY involved?

Boujee barn wedding. Not a lot of DIY, most of the decor will be flowers.

Why did you pick the venue(s) that you chose?

We loved the ceremony site and the barn reception site.

What is your favorite feature about your wedding venue?

The outside scenery

Is there any particular vendor that you are really excited to have for your day?

We are very excited about our band.

Tell us about the food/drink at your wedding.

Our venue is a brewery so all beer and cider is made onsite.

Which part of your wedding did you want to WOW your guests?

The music/dancing.

Tell me about your floral! Will you be using any flowers as part of your decor? (backdrops, centerpieces, etc)

Our flowers are mainly sunflowers, red roses, and baby’s breath. Centerpieces will include greenery and baby’s breath – very simple but pretty.

What aspects of your wedding are specifically “you”?

I think the beauty in its simplicity works well for us, and, since music is so important to us we really wanted to highlight that.

How did you meet? Tell me all about the proposal story 🙂

We met on Tinder and had our first date at a local bar. After almost 5 years of dating, Adam proposed in our backyard and had his band play a song from our favorite band. I was completely suprised.

How would you describe your wedding day “look”? (colors, fashion, etc.)

Our colors are grey, navy, burgundy, and some yellow. Our overall look is pretty rustic.

What are you most looking forward to on the day?

Dancing!
